New £6M Serviced Apartments in Bristol

Bristol's latest addition to the fast-growing serviced apartments sector, a £6 million development on the edge of Cabot Circus.
Bristol, UK (ePressReleases.org) January 09, 2009 – Bristol's latest addition to the fast-growing serviced apartments sector takes standards of luxury to new heights with the opening of Geometric House, a £6 million development on the edge of Cabot Circus.

The purpose built accommodation comprises 33 luxury one and two-bedroom serviced apartments, offering all the conveniences of a hotel while guaranteeing the privacy and space of a 'home from home'.

All apartments at Geometric House are furnished to the highest standards, with Italian furniture, teak bamboo flooring, air conditioning, free Sky TV & broadband and iPod docking stations with integrated speakers to each room. Available from £80 per night, the apartments are bookable from two nights to 12 months or longer.

Speaking at a launch event which attracted nearly 100 guests, Geoff Milton, chairman of Geometric Apartments, explained:

"This is the first of a new concept in serviced apartments which we are rolling out into a series of developments, each under the Geometric brand but with a different stylistic theme."

"We are Bristolians. Things are happening in this city and we want to be part of it. Why Braggs Lane in Old Market? I remember coming through here as a boy after the war when it was a thriving commercial area. With Cabot Circus now on our doorstep, we believe it is an ideal location for investment."

"Our commitment is not just to the building, though. We are contributing £125,000 to the refurbishment of George Jones Park and also improving the paving, roads and streetlighting around Geometric House."

GeoffÕs son, Justin, who is chief executive of the company, added:

"We have a great deal of experience in high-quality residential development Š our portfolio even includes work on royal palaces in London. This is our first apartments development for a while and we decided that the serviced sector was ideally suited to our expertise and design ideas."

"We have further Geometric developments planned for Temple Quay and at Downend, close to the ring road and the motorway network."

The apartments at Geometric House are designed to appeal to people looking for an alternative to a hotel stay, particularly corporate and professional clients and their visitors whose business may bring them to Bristol for weeks or months at a time.

The development is only three minutesÕ walk from the shops, restaurants and leisure amenities at Cabot Circus, is almost as close to Temple Meads railway station and the M32 is even nearer. Secure parking is available and there is also a key card entry system for added convenience.
