While international students will be looking to improve their language skills, SGI firmly believes that it is important for students to relax and enjoy themselves as well. The school's social organisers are helping students to you make the most of their stays with a series of exciting events planned for the summer.
The Olympics are set to take place all over the capital for a fortnight starting on 27 July. The Paralympics will take place for a further two weeks. Whether visitors have tickets for the games or not, there will be many other public events taking place throughout the summer to get involved in. Dance festivals are set to take place across the country, as well as street parties and organised events.
Students can also organise their own Olympic parties with new friends from their SGI language courses. Social gatherings are the perfect opportunities to practise language skills and learn more about local culture and traditions. In an international city such as London, students are able to meet people from all over the world and broaden their horizons.
SGI General Standard English Courses (including Advanced English Courses) can help students to communicate more effectively in English by improving grammatical knowledge, language skills and confidence. All SGI courses are accredited by the British Council.
General English courses from SGI are designed for students who wish to improve their ability to communicate in English while experiencing the sights and sounds of London. Students can choose from morning classes, classes that run all day and courses that combine a morning group class with afternoon one-to-one tuition.
